Location Bratislava On November 25-26, 2013 the eleventh session of the Belarus-Slovakia Joint Committee on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technological Cooperation took place in Bratislava. During the session, the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) signed a Memorandum of Mutual Understanding with the he Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry(BOPK) and the National Centre for Marketing and Price Study of the Republic of Belarus (NCMaTC). These two organizations and SARIO also agreed to organize a business mission from Slovakia to Belarus in the first half of next year. SARIO also got the opportunity to represent activity of NCMaTC for Slovak companies to participate in tenders of countries of the Customs Union, which includes Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan and covers the market of an area of ??more than 20 million square kilometers. The portal NCMaTC runs about 20 000 tenders per week. This joint project could be started in the first half of 2014. For Slovak businesses this means that they will be able to directly participate in electronic tenders without their company being directly registered in any of the countries of the Customs Union.
