On May 7, 2014 the Slovak Embassy in Copenhagen organized an investment seminar „Invest & Visit Slovakia“ together with the Confederation of Danish Industry, the Nordic Chamber of Commerce and SARIO agency in order to promote Slovakia as an attractive investment and tourist destination and to expand Danish-Slovak business contacts. 30 representatives of Danish companies, innovation agencies and media took part in the event. The Slovak ambassador in Copenhagen Mr. Radomír Boháč opened the seminar with the presentation of economic situation in Slovakia and our dynamically growing contacts with Denmark. The director of the Confederation of Danish Industry Mr. Jens Holst-Nielsen stressed 10 years of the succesful membership of Slovakia in the EU. The business success stories in Slovakia were presented by the representative of Danish rescue service Falck Mr. Poul Mortensen and by the representative of cooling devices manufacturer Nissens Mr. Mikkel Krogslund Andersen. The representative of SARIO agency Ms. Slavomira Lenhardtova promoted investment environment in Slovakia as well as the agency services for foreign investors. The official part was followed by a reception where the participants had the possibility not only to taste the Slovak food and drinks, but primarily to discuss their investment and expansion plans with the representatives of embassy, SARIO agency and Danish companies operating in Slovakia.
