Slovak bearings on their way to China

Location
SARIO

KINEX BEARINGS, leading Slovak producer of bearings for the automotive, aerospace, railway and textile industry, which in September 2013 took part at the forum in Beijing co-organized SARIO, founded in Shanghai, its second foreign representation. For many years, it has been supplying bearings for textile machinery to the most populous country in the world. In this tough market their products are competing by quality and reliability, thus able to compete with much cheaper domestic producers. For traditional Slovak manufacturer is the expansion into the rapidly growing Chinese market the way to find new markets outside Europe and not only in China itself, but also in the wider Asia.

The penetration of the Chinese market is not at all simple since China still is not quite the standard market economy. In general it can be said that if the company wants to sell products in China for air or rail industry, it will almost always meet with governmental and semi-state companies, therefore it is essential to have some form of support of its home state country.

This became clear at the last intergovernmental negotiations of the Chinese-Slovak Joint Economic Committee. "Without the help of Slovak diplomacy, the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic and the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) the negotiations, during which the Slovak companies got ajar the door to Chinese behemoths, could not take place. Thanks for this go to all who participated in organizing the negotiations." said the KINEX BEARINGS representative.

SARIO in cooperation with the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in China and the Chinese trade promotion agency TDB held on 26 September 2013 in Beijing business forum, which formed part of the 10th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Slovak-Chinese Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation (IGC).

The representatives of SARIO Slovakia introduced the current Slovak-Chinese projects and possibilities for further development of economic cooperation and business opportunities for Chinese companies. An important part of the business forum, which was attended by over 70 representatives of Chinese companies, was bilateral talks with Slovak businessmen from various sectors of industry.
