The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) within the National Project "Support of the Internationalization of SMEs", in the period from 15th to 19th November 2021, prepared a business mission for 6 Slovak small and medium-sized enterprises for their presentation at the Smart City Expo World Congress 2021, Barcelona, Spain.The Smart City Expo World Congress is a world congress aimed to empower cities and bring together urban innovation around the world. The event aims to create a better future for cities and citizens around the world, by promoting social innovation, building partnerships, and identifying business opportunities. This year's event was attended by about 14,000 visitors and more than 400 exhibitors from 120 countries.The aim of the participation of Slovak companies was to get to know current trends in the field of mobility and smart solutions, to present their business activities, and to establish business contacts with the aim of concluding business contracts for exporting products abroad. For this purpose, in addition to the congress itself, a Slovak-Spanish business-to-business platform and a visit to the Spanish Eurecat Technology Center in Barcelona took place.
