Slovakia at the International Exhibition of Food Industry SIAL Paris 2022

Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) within the national project Support of Internationalization of SMEs in the period from 15th until 19th October 2022 prepared a platform for seventeen Slovak small and medium-sized enterprises for their presentation at a joint exhibition at the International Exhibition of Food Industry
SIAL 2022 in Paris.

The SIAL Paris fair is one of the largest and most important European food and beverage exhibitions for exhibitors who want to showcase their products in new markets and for new target groups. It is a global exhibition that brings together key manufacturers and buyers. SIAL Paris is a specialized international platform for food innovation and takes place every two years with the participation of more than 7,000 exhibitors and 160,000 visitors from all over the world.

The Slovak Republic was represented at the exhibition by a national stand under the Good Idea Slovakia brand organized by the SARIO agency with the participation of 17 Slovak companies: ALFA SORTI S.R.O., ANI SLOVAKIA S.R.O., BIOBILTONG, S.R.O., DESCANTI S.R.O., FROST A.S. PREŠOV, GLOBALTRADING SLOVAKIA, S.R.O., GURLEX S.R.O., HEALTHY FOOD SUPPLEMENTS S.R.O., HIVE HOLDING S.R.O., CHX S.R.O., MENUBOX, S.R.O., NATURES, S.R.O., PSS SVIDNIK, A.S., ROAL GROUP S.R.O., SLIKE S.R.O., VELY CARE S.R.O., VINO PETER LISICKY S.R.O.

The aim of the participation of Slovak small and medium-sized enterprises in the SIAL 2022 was the opportunity to present their business activities and present their product range to foreign partners, as well as to establish new business contacts with the aim of exporting their products and services abroad.

The importance of Slovakia's participation in the fair was also supported by the Slovak Ambassador in Paris, Igor Slobodník and Economic diplomat, Tomáš Šefranko, who during their visit to the joint exhibition discussed with representatives of Slovak companies their production processes and the possibilities and conditions of entering the French market.
