According to the Minister of Economy of the SR, the priority for the future development of the economic cooperation with the representative office of the Saudi Arabia will be finalizing the legal framework which will allow for much broader liberalization of the mutual business exchange. In this connection there are expert negotiations planned on the Agreement on the Support and Protection of the Investment and the Agreement on the Limitation of Double Taxation. During the meeting, the SARIO CEO proposed an offer of closer cooperation with the representative office of the Saudi Arabia with the aim to support Slovak companies export to the Saudi Arabia market, as well as joint-ventures and foreign direct investment The fields of the highest cooperation potential are energetics, petrochemical industry, water, irrigation and waste industry, and machinery (most of all it is equipment for the environment protection in the gas processing or gas or machinery production.
