Location Košice, Prešov Representatives of the Slovak investment and trade development agency (SARIO) are attending a visit of the Kosice and Presov self-governing regions, which SARIO organizes on the 30th and 31st of May 2011 for His Excellency SeokSoong SEO, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Slovakia, members of the Korean Embassy and professionals working in Slovakia from the Korean Republic. Aim of the event is to present the Eastern Slovak regions and their potential from the perspective of future investment and trade opportunities. The program consists of meetings with representatives of the self-governing regions and municipalities and representatives of the academic community. The Korean guests will also visit existing industrial parks and further type of real estates. In reference to the visit, Andrea Gulová, Deputy chief director of the agency SARIO has stated the following: “We appreciate His Excellency SeokSoong SEO’s interest about Eastern Slovakia, since both the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic as well as the agency SARIO attempt to attract investors exactly to the regions with high unemployment rate. Thus, we regard the selected method of getting to know the economic potential of the regions a good opportunity to attract further investments from the Republic of Korea”.
