The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) has been awarded a Commemorative Letter from the Chairman of the Nitra Self-Governing Region doc. Ing. Milan Belica, PhD. for successful long-term cooperation and support of the development of the Nitra self-governing region. At the event which took place on the 12th of November 2019 in Nitra, the awards were also given to companies ŠVEC a SPOL, s. r. o, Vráble for the "INNOVATO Business and Innovation Center" (the winner of the competition “Innovation of the Nitra Region”) and the Nitra Regional Chamber of the Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Department of Regional and Rural Development of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra were awarded for "Cooperation and support of business activities of the Nitra self-governing region”. The event was opened by Ing. Eva Antošová, Member of the National Council of the Slovak Republic and Vice-Chairman of the Nitra Self-Governing Region, who stressed that the development of entrepreneurship and especially the support of business entities is important for the Nitra Self-governing Region. The event was attended by the representatives of entrepreneurs, the Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry, SARIO, the Slovak University of Agriculture, the Office of Social Affairs and Family, the Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency, BIC Bratislava, Slovak business agency and regional development agencies operating in the Nitra region. The aim of the event was to present and emphasize the importance of the cooperation of all stakeholders in business development in the Nitra region. Branislav Mihina, as the regional representative of SARIO, spoke at the event about new SARIO project "Practice for universities, solutions for companies" The participants of the event used the opportunity for personal consultations with SARIO representatives on pro-export tools, upcoming SARIO activities, National SME Support Project, as well as on the presented project connecting universities with the business sector.
