Location Bratislava SARIO in cooperation with the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Moscow and the Ministry of Economy of Slovak Republic organized on July 18, 2012 a meeting with the business mission from Astrakhan region of Russian Federation, which aimed to provide opportunity for Slovak and Astrakhan companies to establish new business contacts and cooperation. In joint discussion SARIO representatives presented the possibility of developing business cooperation, as well as investment opportunities in Slovakia and also presented the possibility of trade promotion and services provided to businesses. Astrakhan businessmen would welcome cooperation with small and medium sized companies, particularly in shipbuilding, engineering and construction. SARIO organized also B2B meetings where 10 companies took part, out of which 4 were from Astrakhan region. For Astrakhan businesses SARIO prepared personal visit to the commercial and production company Stavrem Plus Ltd. Senec. In this company they had the opportunity to get to know the procedures in the production of plastic windows in Slovakia and gain new experience in this field that can be utilized and transformed into their production processes. Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) aims to support the development of the Slovak economy. The activities focus not only on support of foreign direct investment influx, but also on support of SMEs in terms of seeking for suitable export and trade opportunities abroad.
