Location Luck, Ukraine On January 24 – 25, 2014 the representatives of the Slovak Agency for Investment and Trade Development (SARIO) participated in the International Economic Forum to find the date in the area of ??Volyn Lutsk in Ukraine. On the invitation of Mr. Kornijčuk , Vice President of the Volyn Chamber of Industry and Commerce, SARIO in the cooperation with the Consulate General of the Slovak Republic in Uzhgorod , organized on the occasion of this event the mission of Slovak companies. The mission was attended by seven Slovak companies (Simop Ltd. , Ekonov, Ltd. PARTNER IN Pet FOODLtd., Colin Group Inc., Adrian Group Ltd., Carbon Cases , Ltd. ), and two other companies renounced their participation in the context of concerns of latest events in Ukraine. The representatives of Volyn administration and Volyn Chamber of Industry and Commerce praised the interest of Slovak companies in participating in this forum, which had international representation and together with Slovak firms 15 Polish, 3 Belarusian companies and 25 Ukrainian companies participated. The participants were informed about the potential of Volyn region, its significant agricultural production, together with the chemical and electrical potentials. As for the cooperation with Slovakia, the representatives of administration and local companies would welcome the intensification of good business relations, in particular with the producers of agricultural machines and mechanisms for collecting forest products, as well as machinery for the extraction and processing. With this in mind, both parties proposed to organize a business mission of Ukrainian businessmen of Volyn region to Slovakia in the first half of 2014, and identified possible target regions of Prešov, Zemplin and Spis in order to extend the existing cooperative relations.
