On November 13, 2014 the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy the biggest export support event in Slovakia - Export Forum 2014. The event follows in the success of previous seven years of the Slovak Matchmaking Fair.The partner countries of this year's event were the V4 countries along with Austria and the event was included in the list of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic of the official events of the Slovak Presidency of the Visegrad Group. The accompanying event of the Export Forum 2014 was the presentation of the Territorial consultations and projects in which were represented the economic diplomats of V4 countries and Austria together with the representatives of selected partner institutions of V4: the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, SARIO, the Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency, Enterprise Europe Network Slovakia, Czech Trade, Hungarian national trading house, Invest in Poland, and Advantage Austria.Since the beginning in 2007, this event provides the largest opportunity for Slovak SMEs to find new export business opportunities abroad and penetrate the global market as well as to the foreign participants it provides an opportunity to establish new contacts with Slovak companies."SARIO helps to Slovak companies also through this event to establish themselves in a strong foreign competition. We believe that our producers are able to offer to a foreign partner high quality and to become successful in the global market, "said Robert Šimončič, SARIO CEO.Export Forum 2014 has been traditionally focused on individual B2B negotiations of the companies, while at the same time it gave the opportunity for the presentation of commercial offers or proposals for the creation of joint ventures and new partnerships. During the past seven years this international "fair" of cooperation opportunities and B2B negotiations a total of 6 partner countries, 1,208 companies and 3,065 participants were included.Export forum 2014 was attended by 148 companies (84 Slovak, 64 foreign) from 19 countries and Slovakia, while from the V4 countries and Austria came a total of 102 subjects. During the event 583 officially registered B2B negotiations and other numerous informal discussions during the accompanying program took place.
