Location Bratislava The roundtable was organized under the auspices of SARIO with the participation of the representatives of the Mexican Embassy in Vienna and the trade agency ProMéxico.As well there were present prominent representatives of Slovak companies with export interests in Mexico. The goal of the event was to support the export-oriented activities leading to the establishment of the new economic cooperation projects between Slovak and Mexican businesses, creating space for Slovak companies to obtain new possibilities of economic cooperation and strengthening trade liaison between the countries. Sectoral representation of the companies at the event: electronics, information technology , engineering, construction and processing of natural stone Brief conclusion: At the Roundtable Mexico-Slovakia there were present companies from various industries - electronics, construction, engineering, information technology and one educational institution - University of Economics in Bratislava.The representatives from Mexican party came to the event from neighboring countries - Austria and Germany. The guests of honor of the event were the ambassador of Mexico in Vienna Luis Alfonso de Alba, the first secretary of the Mexican embassy in Vienna Diego Candano Laris, the representative of ProMéxico in Germany Erwin Feldhaus and the honorary consul of Mexico in Slovakia Václav Mika. The representatives of Slovak companies obtained useful information about business opportunities in Mexico.ProMéxico agency representative Erwin Feldhaus provided the companies with up-to-date information about Mexican market, possibilities of its penetration and as well gave them direct contact to potential Mexican partners that operate in the above mentioned sectors. The embassy of Mexico in Vienna showed its interest to actively assist in developing of Slovak-Mexican relations.
