Deutsche Telekom awarded as the best Business Services Firm of the Year – CEE at the CEE Business Services Summit & Awards in Warsaw On January 29-30, 2020, CEE Business Services Summit & Awards took place in Warsaw already for the 8th time. Among 26 winners, Deutsche Telekom was awarded as the best Business Services Firm of the Year in CEE. The event organized by Polish agency Biznes Polska attracted more than 330 managers, professionals and representatives of 76 business service centers established in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. The 2-day conference focused on the current topics of the BSC sector with an emphasis on the importance of human capital, financial services and automation of business processes, also provided room for networking and presentations of fast-growing cities or newly established centers in CEE. Stanislava Plascencia Lubinová, Senior Consultant of Investment Projects, being part of 26 members of the jury, together with Soňa Markechová, Consultant of Investment Projects, were representing SARIO at the event. On top of that, SARIO's participation in cooperation with Business Services Centers Forum (BSCF) operating under the auspices of the AmCham, consisted in approaching and motivating Slovak BSCs to submit nominations in selected categories In addition, two Slovak cities were nominated by SARIO: Bratislava (Most dynamically developing city - CEE) and Košice (Emerging City of the year - CEE).In addition to these 2 cities, the following Slovak companies were shortlisted:·Top Employer Branding Initiative: IBM International Services Centre : “IBM Fest” and Soitron: “Soitron-x” Talks·BSC Manager of the Year – SSC – CEE: Deutsche Telekom Services Europe Slovakia (Marek Resovsky)Business Services Firm of the Year – CEE: Deutsche Telekom Services Europe SlovakiaCSR Initiative – CEE: Adient Slovakia – Going Green initiative and Soitron – Helping children with cancer continue with education·RPA Implementation of the year: Deutsche Telekom Services Europe Slovakia: “Smart Data Extraction”·Best University-Business cooperation of the Year: IBM Slovakia Undergraduate Programs (IBM)Vibrant Workplace: Deutsche Telekom Services Europe Slovakia and T-Systems Slovakia·Top BSC in Financial Services: Deutsche Telekom Services Europe Slovakia Among 11 Slovak BSCs which were shortlisted together with another 90 Centers, Deutsche Telekom was assessed as the best Business services Firm of the year in CEE. The first place in this category undoubtedly recognizes the success and achievements of this company during last year.Taking into account the number of nominated Slovak BSCs as well as the winning company, this year's award ceremony is considered by SARIO as one of the most successful. The results of BSCs are reflecting not only the significant position of this sector within the Slovak economy, but also the growth of individual players in this sector and their transition towards strategic centers.
