SARIO held talks about space industry cooperation in Israel

On the sidelines of the Ilan Ramon International Space Conference in Tel Aviv, SARIO representatives held a series of talks with the Israel Space Agency aimed at the preparation of a memorandum regarding further systematic cooperation.
 
On January 28, 2020, the 15th edition of the Ilan Ramon International Space Conference took place in Tel Aviv, Israel. Slovakia was represented by a delegation led by SARIO agency including representatives of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic, Office of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic for Investments and Informatization, Slovak Organisation for Space Activities, Slovak AeroSpace Cluster, and several companies.
 
A part of the visit programme was dedicated to bilateral meetings between Slovak and Israeli companies as well as to a series of talks between SARIO and the Israel Space Agency aimed at systematisation and deepening of further cooperation. SARIO agency was represented by the Róbert Šimončič, Dominik Susa, SARIO CEO, Director of FDI Department and  Michal Brichta, Teamleader for SARIO Diversification Services. As one of the outcomes of the talks, the two agencies are starting preparation of a memorandum of understanding which will be focused on fostering more intensive cooperation between Slovak and Israeli space businesses. The Israeli counterparts also expressed their interest in participation in Slovak Space Tech Day 2 which will be held on 16th June 2020 in Bratislava.
