Location Trencin Trencin company BOST SK organized, with the support of the Slovak Trade and Investment Development Agency (SARIO), first export of classical metal working machinery and electro centers to Iraq. This successful business is the result of long term cooperation in the field of education technicians from machinery sector with the company MEDITERRANEAN INTERNATIONAL CO. from Bagdad with the assistance of SARIO agency. Part of the business is also training of Iraqi professionals in the operation of these machines directly in Trencin in BOST SK. This training took place on September 22.-24.9.2010. BOST SK initiated with this successful business its future planned export activities on Iraqi market. Its next step will be the participation at the “Baghdad International Fair“on November 1.-10. 2010 as a part of project “Presentation of products, BOST SK, a. s.” that has been supported from Submeasure 1.1.3 “Support for participation of Slovak producers on trade fairs, exhibitions, business missions“, implemented by SARIO as a part of the Operational Program Competitiveness and Economic Growth 2007 – 2013.
