On 30 June 2022, a matchmaking lunch dedicated to Slovak-Dutch cooperation took place in Bratislava, organised by the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) in cooperation with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Slovakia and ING Bank.The event brought together 25 Slovak and 10 Dutch companies from the fields of circular economy, recycling, waste management, water energy, smart cities and innovation.At the beginning of the event, Gijs van der Loo, Sales Director at Heineken Slovakia and Natália Barinková, Deputy Director of the Foreign Trade Department of SARIO, welcomed the participants and emphasised the importance of mutual economic relations between the Netherlands and Slovakia. Subsequently, Mr. Marek Kopanický, Senior Consultant of SARIO's Investment Projects Department, introduced the investment opportunities in Slovakia to the Dutch participants and the ways in which SARIO can help them in this process.After the presentation, Slovak companies had the opportunity to discuss about potential business cooperation with Dutch representatives.
