The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) on April 26 to 28, 2016 attended the Slovak-Ukrainian Forum 2016 which was held within the project "Days of Ukraine in Košice 2016 '. The second year of this important international economic and cultural event took place under the auspices of Mr. Richard Raši, the Mayor of Kosice. Main topic and also the objective of the Slovak-Ukrainian Forum 2016 was mainly the presentation of Eastern Slovakia, focusing on the city of Košice and its potential to build the cross-border cooperation between the Slovak Republic and Ukraine, especially in matters of the economy, culture, tourism development and also innovative approach in the fields of energy, technology, science and industry. The presentation of industrial parks KSK / PSK in Ukraine, export-import, certification of import and export of goods, tourism development as well as possibilities for cooperation between business entities of the two countries and the establishment of effective ways of developing cooperation in the following period. SARIO presented at their booth the Slovak investment environment, its investment opportunities and tools to support the development of Slovak-Ukrainian trade relations, where forum participants had the opportunity to conduct bilateral negotiations and consultations with representatives of the agency during the three days of the event. The spectrum of visitors of the event consisted mainly of experts and representatives of more than 60 Ukrainian and Slovak companies from different sectors of the economy.
