Slovakia participated in the automotive fair EQUIP AUTO 2019 in Paris

Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO), within the framework of the National Project: Support for Internationalization of SMEs, which is implemented under the Operational Program Research and Innovation, Priority Axis 3, Investment Priority 3.2, Specific Goal 3.2.1 aimed at increasing the internationalization of SMEs and using the opportunities provided by the EU’s common market, prepared a platform for six Slovak small and medium-sized enterprises to present themselves as a part of a joint exhibition under the nation brand of Slovakia – Good Idea Slovakia at the International Fair of Service, Maintenance, Equipment and Spare Parts for cars and commercial vehicles EQUIP AUTO Paris 2019 which was held from 15^th to 19^th of October 2019.

International fair EQUIP AUTO is held every two years and connects 95 000 decision-makers, distributors, manufacturers, service providers, investors and professionals operating in the automotive sector.

The Slovak Republic was represented at the exhibition with the national stand organized by the SARIO agency and it was a place, which presented six Slovak companies: ejoin, s. r. o., ICS ice cleaning systems, s. r. o., IVEKO, s. r. o., MOTOSAM, a. s., SLOCHEM s. r. o. and VAM system s. r. o.

The goal of the participation of Slovak enterprises in the joint national exposition was the opportunity to present their business activities and present foreign partners a range of their products, as well as to establish business contacts with the aim of concluding business contracts and exporting their products abroad. The companies had the opportunity to personally discuss with the representatives of domestic business entities the possibility of entering the French market, or expanding its presence on the market.

The importance of Slovakia's participation at the EQUIP AUTO 2019 was also supported by Igor Slobodník, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic in France. During the visit, he discussed with each representative of the participating companies their production program and the possibilities of entering the French market
Within the whole period of the National Project’s implementation, SARIO seeks to realize 75 national expositions on the international fairs and exhibitions.
