Trade Mission of Slovak companies to Romania

The regional branch of the Slovak Investment and Trade  Development Agency (SARIO)  in cooperation with the Regional branch of the Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SOPK), both located in Banska Bystrica, have organised Trade Mission of Slovak companies to Romania.  The Trade Mission took its place between  September 18 -21 2013 in the town of Salonta in the north-western Romania. The main aim of this mission was to enhance existing and establish new economic relations between the two countries.

 

The Ambassador of Romania to the Slovak Republic, J. E. Florin Vodita, opned the ceremony and highlighted the importance of this business event which represents successful continuation of bilateral negotiations between Romania and the Slovak Republic. The participation of almost 50 Romanian companies in this trade mission and B2B negotiations confirms the overall success of this event.

 

The Bihor Chamber of Commerce and Industry accepted the invitation of the Banska Bystrica branch of the Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry to participate in the planned  trade mission of Romanian companies to Slovakia in 2014 during which a Memorandum of understanding is expected to be signed. In addition, SARIO has offered Romanian business partners the possibility to engage in The Slovak Matchmaking Fair in 2013.

 

The Slovak Delagation has been formed by the representatives of SARIO and SOPK and companies: Transform  Recykling a.s., Žiar nad Hronom, Polyston s.r.o., Badín, MPC Cessi a.s., Spišská Nová Ves, Alber auto s.r.o., Prievidza, Mäspoma a.s., Zvolen, IOP-Plus s.r.o., Poltár, Park Snow Donovaly  and  the Regional Tourism Organisation for Central Slovakia .
