SARIO CEO Juraj Kiesel welcomed new ambassador of the Korea Republic Seok-soong Seo. The meeting took place at the request of the new Ambassador who was interested in the activities of SARIO towards established Korean investors as well as subjects that only plant to develop their activities in Slovakia. “The priority of the Slovak government is to support projects with higher added value, knowledge economics and R&D“, said SARIO CEO. The Director of Foreign Direct Investment Section of SARIO Andrea Chovancova informed Korea Ambassador that his country is based on the volume of investment and number of executed projects and projects in processing belongs to the most important partners of the Slovak Republic. “Nowadays we have registered 9 Korean investment projects while the most of them is directed to the field of automobile production, production of metal constructions, products from rubber and plastics, electric machinery, and paper products”, added Andrea Chovancova. SARIO CEO acknowledged cooperation history with the Embassy of the Korea Republic that assumed active role in all significant Korean investments including projects Kia Motors and Samsung Electronics. He also suggested the possibility to organize event for Korean investors where the current issues of development business activities in Slovakia could be discussed. “Certainly the SARIO door will be always open for the Korean investors”, Juraj Kiesel stressed at the end of the meeting.
