On April 13, 2023, the first People Forum was organized under the auspices of the British Chamber of Commerce BritCham. The event's main topics were challenges and opportunities in the Slovak labour market focused on the lack of qualified workers in Slovakia.SARIO was the partner of the event and one of the speakers in the panel discussion was Stanislava Plascencia Lubinová, Senior Consultant of the Investment Projects Department at SARIO. In addition to British investments heading to Slovakia, which were announced last year, she presented the scheme of relocation of highly qualified employees from third countries based on the Regulation of the Slovak Government no. 269/2022. This regulation was created thanks to constructive cooperation between SARIO and the relevant ministries: the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, and Family.Since July 2022, when this regulation entered into force, 130 employees and approximately 260 family members have been successfully relocated to Slovakia.More information on the topic of relocation of highly qualified workers from third countries at: https://sario.sk/en/news/sario-agency-assists-relocation
