International Fair Medica 2019 | SARIO, Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency

Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) organized
a national stand at of the international fair Medica 2019, which was held
in the period since 18th till 21th of November 2019.

Medica fair was focused mainly on the health service sector. Objective of the national stand was to give an opportunity to Slovak companies to present their business activities and achieve new business contacts with other fair participants.

Five Slovak companies from the sectors of the health service and medical technology presented their products at the exhibition. Slovak exhibitors had an opportunity to participate on the planned B2B meetings as well as on the panel discussions focused on the various topics from the sector of the medical technology and trends.

Slovak small and medium enterprises, which attended the fair, achieved relevant contacts for the development of mutual business relationships. Although it was the first national stand in the framework of the health sector, feedback from the entrepreneurs was positive and they declared an interest to participate also on the next fairs and exhibition from the sectors of the medicine and health.

Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) organizes trade missions within its National Project ‘Support of internationalization of SMEs’ which is organized within the framework of the Operational Programme Research and Innovation, priority axis 3, investment priority 3.2, specific goal 3.2.1 targeting the increase of internationalization of SMEs and the use of the opportunities provided by the EU’s common market.
