Zdroj financovania: V prípade súhlasu EBOR budú projekty financované zo Fondu technickej spolupráce SR a EBOR. Projekty: 1. FYR Macedonia: Railways fleet renewal project – €650,000 2. Tajikistan: Impact evaluation study of professional training – €260,000 3. Tajikistan: Impact evaluation study of professional training – €500,000 1. FYR Macedonia: Railways fleet renewal project – €650,000 Two technical cooperation (TC) projects are included. The first, worth €350,000, focuses on institutional strengthening assistance. It will provide assistance to the Macedonian Railways Transport company in establishing a rail safety management system and support the railway reform programme by instigating business segmentation between the freight and passenger operations. The second TC, worth €300,000, will transfer the Bank's know-how about contract supervision and administration to the project implementation unit's staff members. 2. Tajikistan: Impact evaluation study of professional training – €260,000 An efficient and effective legal system is crucial for a well-functioning market economy and private-sector development. This study aims to explore how the quality of judicial decision making can be improved in Tajikistan. The project will evaluate the impact of the Bank's judicial training programme on the quality of judicial decisions in economic and commercial law cases. It will test the idea that quality-based reputation can be effective in counteracting negative influences of corruption, risk and uncertainty on decision quality, thus leading to an overall improvement in the legal system which can translate into benefits for the growth and development of the economy at-large. 3. Tajikistan: Impact evaluation study of professional training – €500,000 Two TC projects are included. The first, worth €400,000, will assist Khujand airport in the preparation of a master plan for its future development. It will cover areas such as technical developments and investments, safety and environment, which will be assessed with reference to international standards. The plan will help steer its development over the medium to long term. The second TC, worth €100,000, will assist the airport with the implementation of the Environmental Social Action Plan, the Stakeholder Engagement Plan and health and safety improvements.
