The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) organized on May 25, 2016 the International Engineering Cooperation Day 2016 as the official part of the 23rd International Engineering Fair in Nitra within the project SARIO Business Link. The event offered Slovak and foreign entrepreneurs the opportunity in one day and in one place to participate in fruitful B2B meetings with potential business partners from Slovakia and abroad. The general partner of the SARIO Business Link series as well as the International Engineering Cooperation Day 2016 was Československá obchodná banka ČSOB. The International Engineering Cooperation Day 2016 this year presented 64 registered companies (55 Slovak companies and 9 foreign, from the Czech Republic, Great Britain, Belgium, Spain and Romania), offering or looking for technologies, tools and solutions for business activities in the field of engineering and opportunities for joint venture partnerships, giving the participants a space for presentation of their product portfolio as well as establish new business contacts during the whole day of B2B negotiations. The accompanying Sourcing day offered a unique opportunity to take part in tailor made B2B negotiations in order for Slovak companies to become a part of the subcontracting chains of four major multinational companies:SCHINDLER ESKALÁTORY, s.r.o., KTP GROUP, CCS GROUP, HESCON. The Industrial Expert Panel Engineering Goes Digital, backed by the magazine Revue priemyslu, focused on the expected implementation aspects of the widely recognized Industry 4.0 principles to the industrial practice in the enginering, industry aiming the future digital and connected operations from three different angles - manufacturing, internal logistics and the B2B e-trade. The different points of view represented the speakers – representatives of leading companies in these fields Martin Morháč, CEO Sova Digital, Marek Schinkerle, Volkswagen Slovakia, Jiří Ovesný, Senior Intralogistic Specialist, Still SR, Martin Pohanka, Senior Key Account Manager, Bureau van Dijk.The partners of the event in addition to the General partner ČSOB included: Agrokomplex-Exhibitions Nitra, CRIF, Slovak-Austrian Business Chamber, WorkSpace Europe and magazine Revue priemyslu.
