The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency organized on March 22, 2018 an innovative workshop to help facilitate R&D activities of Minebea's technology center in Košice. The event followed up on SARIO's successful assistance towards Minebea during its site location procedure related to both production facility and technology center.The aim of this workshop was to stimulate research at Minebea's technology center in Košice, introduce their representatives to the most relevant Slovak partners from academia, business & governmental sector and propose concrete steps and the heading of further innovative activities of Minebea in Slovakia.Slovak entities have presented their projects and solutions on chosen topics such as cloud robotic platforms, vibrationless motors, digital twin solutions, processing of big data in autonomous/collaborative robotics, as well as automation processes in the production of bearings.SARIO aims to follow-up on this successful event by organizing another dedicated workshop for Minebea, this time focused exclusively on companies that provide automation, robotization and process optimization solutions.The above-mentioned activities are part of SARIO's newly forming innovative agenda, which is aimed to attract higher added value investments to Slovakia and provide possibilities for innovative Slovak companies to enter the supply chain of SARIO's international clients
