On Tuesday, March 3, 2020, the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) organized another innovation event within its Innovation Services Platform at Brose Prievidza. The aim of this innovation event was to introduce relevant representatives of Brose to the Slovak technology companies in order to cooperate with the Brose Prievidza plant and continue to streamline and innovate its processes in the areas of production or logistics.The German family company Brose has been operating in Prievidza since 2016 and is one of the most important employers in the Upper Nitra Region. Brose is also a major client of SARIO, and we are pleased that our long-term cooperation and communication have resulted in this innovative event in the modern premises of the company.Representatives of 8 Slovak technologically advanced companies, mainly focused on solutions within Industry 4.0, after a detailed inspection of the plant had the opportunity to present their solutions in the areas of digitization and robotization of production or logistics, but also in the field of employee training using virtual reality. As multiple participating companies can offer their innovative solutions in a variety of areas, thanks to the open format of the event, the participating representatives of the companies have been able to meet and talk to executives from multiple Brose project teams at one time and in one place, allowing up to 15 business meetings in the afternoon. We believe that many of them will in the future bring concrete results in the form of pilot projects of mutual cooperation of a successful foreign investor and Slovak innovative companies.
