On Thursday, August 20, 2020, the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) organized another innovation event within its Innovation Services platform, this time for one of the 4 Slovak car manufacturers - Groupe PSA Slovakia.The aim of the event was to introduce the relevant representatives of PSA to Slovak innovative companies, which could help automate and robotize several processes and workplaces of its welding shop in their Trnava plant in the years to come.Representatives of four Slovak technologically advanced companies, focused mainly on collaborative robotics and system integration, had an opportunity to visit the welding shop present and discuss next steps of the potential cooperation. We believe that these connections may result in the mutual cooperation between the successful foreign investor and Slovak technology companies.Trnava-based OEM Groupe PSA Slovakia has been operating in Slovakia since 2006 and is a leader in the production of small vehicles in the B-mainstream segment, so-called platform 1.
